A common issue faced by millions is the WiFi coverage around a building. With so many elements of our daily lives relying on WiFi devices, the last thing that anybody needs is a WiFi blackspot. We have decades of experience in eliminating these using rock solid hardware and reliable backhaul communication delivery.
Mesh Systems
A common buzzword used these days is mesh, unfortunately these rely on WiFi it’s self to attempt to overcome the issue of having no WiFi in a particular area of a building. Modern building techniques make this a very unreliable solution, materials such as foil backed insulation are great for maintaining a constant temperature in an area but unfortunately are also great at reflecting the radio waves used by WiFi, especially modern high speed ones.
As a result of this, we only employ mesh systems as a secondary solution for data traffic in the rare instance that a cable becomes damaged, we favour the discreet running of cables or fibre between devices where possible as it is the only way of ensuring that your precious data is passed reliably from each device to the next.
Our Discreet Hardware
Our indoor WiFi units can be positioned in many places, traditionally, ISP supplied routers tend to be positioned in a spot that is convenient to the installers so that they can fit as many as possible in one day. The downside to this is that you have great coverage in one part of the building coming from a device that has to sit on a counter top or similar position.
From here we can take cables to the ceilings to install wireless access points which don’t look dissimilar to a traditional smoke alarm. This means that the area in question is soaked in WiFi from above giving far less obstructions for your device to communicate with the outside world. We also have options to install them on walls, in walls and in the best position to maximise the coverage provided.
